Shoot it into the sun, and restore some of the energy we're stealing from it. Musk can do it.

Yeah, I really really wanted to explore this, but had to be somewhere.

I just realized I typed "fission" instead of fusion. Now I feel dumb. But, not as dumb as the person who asked me this today: "What are you going to when Trump gets re-elected and gas becomes $1.50 again?" Whoooooooboy, I wish I'd had some extra time for live 3D trolling, but was running late.

I don’t know why people seem so unconcerned with bleeding the sun dry of all its energy.

First time I’ve heard someone classify nuke as non renewable. Solar is also non renewable since the sun is just a fission plant and will run out too.

That's hilarious, I've spent quite a bit of time with neighbors' kids helping with their cars because some dads aren't so proficient. There's no magic to light works like plugs, brakes, u-joints and CVs, fluids, etc. If the Tesla is still in my household out of warranty I'll mostly care for it...

Well, I do have both, and though I love my Tesla, the Smart is neat enough to make me have to think about which way to swing for most drives.

Sounds like they are intellectually honest and EV-curious, so they don't assume. I feel like at least half the population is at least mildly anti or skeptical of EVs, and base it on not seeing the infrastructure. Interest and happy to hear that there are people being smart about it though...

I'm glad Tesla made the SCs bigger than necessary and super flashy. I originally thought it was just his massive ego, and using them as a penis enlarger. But I've learned that the out of sight, small chargers are perceived as not existing. I was recently in a group of around 12 people in a...

So confidently incorrect, and so much stupid in one single post. Wow. ----- No to EV's, the batteries are a pollutant not only in their manufacturing but also in their disposal. The mining for the minerals is horrible for the environment AND the electric they used is brought about by fossil...

In my area, there are penalties for doing the wrong thing, and discounts for doing the right thing. Hearing some obstinate neighbors complain about the penalties is hilarious, because they call it "gouging" and "treating us like children." Well kids, if you are doing the right thing, there are...

A friend has relatives in the strike zones. They are now having major gasoline worries, they have no power, and the house is lightly flooded. They were annoyed that a neighbor was "smugly" sitting on his patio running fans and pumps from his solar, and charging his car. They have always told...

Not one of it was political, it's just what happened and it's fact. I didn't express an opinion on whether it was good or bad; that would be political. Just a straight line, regulation occurred, business changes happened, that's it. Were they good or bad business changes? Is ACA right or...

I did point to a specific thing, and I didn't blame it, a medical office manager told me this. And not just ONE medical office manager. Aside from my doctor, our largest client is...drumroll...a medical billing outsource company. ACA requirements were great for them, and for us, as they...

That's untrue; insurance or not, the new coding requirements were still problematic. But hey, what the hell would his wife know about it, she'd only been a medical office manager for 20 years. Having access to firearms makes most communities safer, but not all.

Neither medical care nor killing injured animals have any politics at all. Politicians have limited our choices on both in many places, that doesn't make it political. I should ask my doctor how he identifies. I know he's at least a bit pro government funding, but the ACA's complexity forced...

I suppose the nuclear engineer who explained the challenges of changing output could have been wrong, and got his NRC badge from a Cracker Jack box. But either way, the point is that we have excess power at night, by a huge margin.
