Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

What is in doubt? The court found, this is public record, we're to vote again, this is also public record. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/economy/tesla-wants-shareholders-to-reinstate-56-billion-musk-pay-package-tossed-by-a-delaware-judge If you don't believe in courts, how pray tell should we...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

That's not how deals work. It's not a deal if it's done under false pretenses. The court saw the evidence, and ruled this deal was under false pretenses. I do not understand why anyone would want to live in a world where dishonesty would be rewarded. So we'll vote on the old package again...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

...Not involved in this. This is just a case between shareholders and the CEO. It's completely unrelated to government agencies. If you want to argue you want to live in a world where shareholders don't have legal means to counter what they see as actions not completely fair and honest by a...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

Yes. The banks that had access to Tesla's internals said those 'unachievable' (others' words) goals were instead highly likely. That's probably the most damning part of the details the court case revealed. Yeah, most investors didn't believe Tesla would make it - but their banks who did their...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

Contracts made under false pretenses are void. The court said it was not honestly presented to the shareholders. I knew the board was weighted towards him in the first place; the court found they failed to include this in the materials to the shareholders. That I knew doesn't change that...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

...It was discovered in court that you got that pay package without revealing the conflicts of interest or that those benchmarks were considered nearly impossible not to meet? What his next pay package is, is irrelevant to what his last pay package was. The drop in stock price tells it all...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

No. He tanked the stock price. This is why the goals of payment plan really need to be stretch goals. -Crissa

1800 jobs cut today @ Gigafactory rumored there will be a 2nd wave in the next few days.

It is dumb to lay off people you're hiring. But it's not abnormal to lay off people as you increase productivity. The jobs will come back when financials are better. I just wish the board and CEO wouldn't be so shortsighted about it right now. -Crissa

    FSD safety and FUD

At $99/mo, FSD costs about half what my insurance was. If they were able to reduce accidents down 90%, that's a heck of a profit margin. -Crissa

Wow. A watch isn't a warning and wow that ranch really did the wrong thing. They should sue, 'cause putting people out on the road during a watch is like, the last thing you should do. -Crissa
