Vehicles that perform "ICE-ing" at Tesla SuperChargers

Ii am sure you all saw the Teslarati posting about the truck pulling a trailer that ICEd 7 supercharger stalls. Several people talked about putting cameras on superchargers or calling the police, but I suspect that the police are more sympathetic to the ICErs than to the EVers. Since they were...

    How about that weather?

I watch the reservoir levels published by the state like a hawk and I believe that you are mistaken. New Melones and Shasta were nearly full for a couple of years just a couple of years ago. It may ‘feel’ like they are low (and this year they are for sure) but you should look at the tables...

    TSLA just broke 1000

Wall Street responds positively to sales and profit type events. It doesn’t pay attention to technology or to vision. This is exactly the kind of news they would gobble up but it would not support a sustained growth without new, similar events on a regular basis. If the new factories were to...

The Anger of Tesla Fans Is Becoming a Problem

I owned 2 NeXTs and loved them. It was a company way ahead of the pack at the time.

The Anger of Tesla Fans Is Becoming a Problem

From what I have heard and discussed with a fair number of people, it is not the administration that thinks of Elon as a problem child but just about the entirety of Wall Street (and so a lot of business people) and related media outlets (WSJ). I wish that I could give recent administrations the...

The Anger of Tesla Fans Is Becoming a Problem

I have a few issues with the Cummings appointment and they are not related to her academic or research credentials, which I am assuming are substantial. My issues are related to three things that have been published about her: (1) she should divest herself of stock or any ongoing interest in any...

California bans gas-powered lawn equipment and other “small off-road engines”

All of my lawn and garden stuff has been electric for years, and this year I am 100% li-ion. So, go Newsom!

These guys have been doing it for 100 years...

I am sure that they want the ratio to be as low as possible unless they are trying to motivate their managers. It isn't the VW position that caught my eye, it was the 10 hours and thinking about what the majority of the difference must be. I suspect, now that I think about it more, that the...

Nice, but I bet much of that 10 hours is in coatings. I wonder if QA is included or separate and if there is any difference between manufacturers for QA.

Ford announces giant new electric pickup truck factory plus three new battery gigafactories

It is good news for the climate and for electrification but it is also off in the future. If they broke ground today the earliest the Blue Oval city could begin producing batteries and vehicles would be late in 2023 and a ramp to full production over the following year, so 2024 (optimistically)...

Infinite Range with Ecat SKL "Cold Fusion" Cell

Just put it in a box and send it to me. This endless set of posts is BS. Just post when you have published and replicated evidence.

    Vacuum Switches

I get the point but not everything on a Tesla is electric. There are pneumatics and hydraulics and mechanical (transmissions, linkages, etc.). We can be pretty certain that the AWS will be electric.

    Evil plan, math is flawless

Interesting idea. I could see Tesla doing it just to get back at Ford, GM, and the administration.

A Unionized Tesla Workforce Could Benefit All Parties

I prefer for the post an opinion to be in the same post. Otherwise i get confused as i said. Not only that, but i want the opinion first, like "look at this folks, i don't agree with it for X, Y, and Z reasons but there you have it"...

    Evil plan, math is flawless

This keeps coming up and @crissakeeps reminding whoever posts that the only thing that matters is your reservation number, and that you can change your trim or your mind at any time. As far as 'I' am concerned it is cutting in line but if that is the way it is set up then so be it.

    Evil plan, math is flawless

The dual will not qualify for tax credits, $40K max for any credit. Surely you have been following that story. The sad story on the tax credits is that the administration was hoodwinked into thinking they were doing the 'common man' a favor in restricting credits to vehicles costing $40K or less...

    Evil plan, math is flawless

The last I heard the rebates are only for vehicles costing less than $40K and only for those making less than 100K. So no rebate for ANY electric truck or SUV.

A Unionized Tesla Workforce Could Benefit All Parties

I am confused. First you post the pro-union article and then you post a non-union statement. Make up your mind. Tesla workers are not forbidden from joining or forming a union. If they did they would give up stock options and what would they gain? I was a faculty member once, and a restaurant...
