Tesla Is About to Put More Pressure on EV Prices (How slow IS the media)

How did they get that wrong? Like, was it written more than a week ago? Oop, looking at the article today, it says it was updated today, and it quotes Tesla Daily from Friday and has the prices right. -Crissa

    Road Rage of Tesla Driver

I'm glad he got prosecuted, and I'm a little worried it took terrorizing a dozen different instances before he did get prosecuted. Tesla's Sentry Mode will help prosecute these things much more quickly. And hopefully before it's big enough for jail time to be required. -Crissa

Sandy Munro bottle openers for sale / donation

They need to get the cars in and be paid for their work. It's surprising to me that they can't get the big guys behind them this time... But the VC money is limited right now. -Crissa

    4680 Model Y pulled from US pre-order

Yes, they did it this last week. But the operations around it needed to also be stopped, and I guess some of the unknown concurrent installs are taking longer than 'hours'. -Crissa

    4680 Model Y pulled from US pre-order

They're shifting over the electrical systems to operate off their new switchyard, megapacks, and time-delayed solar. So it's just best to do all the work you can at the same time. -Crissa

    4680 Model Y pulled from US pre-order

No, since the 'Cyber cell' is already being produced, it wasn't in vehicles. It may just mean they've sold out of the 'generation 1' cells and they want to commit to making the cyber cells. We don't know the cell layout in the Cybertruck battery yet. -Crissa

    4680 Model Y pulled from US pre-order

Interestingly - since just Wednesday I checked and - the 4680 Model Y has been seemingly removed from the design studio. Either this means they know how to make the 4680 in the Long Range version or something's up as they ready the factory... -Crissa

Teslas made like Hot Wheels in the future?

I don't see any sources describing anything that Tesla didn't already said. Nor any breakthroughs. Just, a description of 'Tesla is doing what they said they were doing it might work for the $25k car!' which is... Uhh... The same thing we knew in April? ??‍♀️ -Crissa

    Tesla Model S test drive

Yeah, she said the same thing. But she's like, super-quick at that stuff. Annoyingly so ^-^ But she also said it proved they'd made it reliable and took away the range anxiety she had. -Crissa

    First EV road trip

Remember on long trips to mix up how you're holding the steering wheel. Use the other hand. Etc. You can also shift the wheel to be in the most relaxed position for your arms, rather than the instrument cluster. Also use cruise control/autopilot to keep some of the stress off your arm. Even...

    Tesla Model S test drive

That's what I did to convince my spouse. Rented her a Model S in 2019 for a road trip from Boston (where she was working) to New Jersey. She had to Supercharge on the route. It really convinced her they were ready. -Crissa

    Model 3 Refresh Revealed!

You should never be using them without the car being not in motion. -Crissa PS, I live where I hit thick fog pretty frequently. So thick that dew constantly builds up on my visor and tank or windshield and car. Fog lights were pretty useful in the 80s. Today with HID LED lights? Not...

    Model 3 Refresh Revealed!

Sure, you exist, so there 'are people', Setok. Doesn't make you right. An independent drive selector is pointless on an automated EV. The selector doesn't need to be used while moving, shouldn't be used while moving, and would be very expensive to make display the mode with its physical...

    Model 3 Refresh Revealed!

Well, no one has found it to be such. You can install third party if you need to. I don't get the fascination with have a go/no-go/go-back stick anyhow when the car pretty much knows which to be in already. -Crissa

Highland model 3 with rear seat screen and controls (Robotaxi hint)

When cleaning or loading out my car, I often wish I could move the seats without being in the front. I'll have my head in the back door and an arm down under the seat pulling out stuff that rolled under or stuffing water bottles under there for later and need to reposition the seats. Or when...

WSJ- Biden admin to funnel $13B to EV manufacturers with unions. Screwing Tesla.

Let the record state that Biden hasn't actually let the UAW change his position on EVs, or the legislation that actually got passed. He kept trying, and got it passed without their silly riders. Sometimes you gotta let them think they're winning, string them out and give them one thing while...
