The electric saws are fantastic for keeping in your truck in the winter time if you are worried about downed trees. Sharpening a chainsaw is a weird skill so if you don’t know how, dropping them off at the shop is a good way to go. -

A buddy of mine uses the Ego chainsaw and loves it. One other thing about electric saws to be aware of. The chains are thinner this makes the battery last longer, but the thinner chains wear out quicker so you need to sharpen them more often. -
