iPace / iPace / Zeekr / Cybercab Which will Customers Prefer?

With the Waymo Austin launch now well underway - they accounted for 20% market share of Uber rides last month - and Tesla coming into the market in ~two months or so, customers are going to be able to pass judgement soon on the form factor of the Tesla CB versus the iPace and Ioniq 5s from Uber/Waymo. Tesla should have a pretty big brand advantage since it is the largest private employer in the city, but that aside I think the Ioniq / iPace will be more comfortable for entrance / egress. I think the real winner on the form factor, however, will be the Zeekr unit (below) which is unlikely to make it big into the US for obvious reasons but will likely be the lead vehicle as it scales up in Tokyo and other international locations.

I am curious what others think about the form factor. Assuming the services are priced the same etc., what will you choose to take you to the airport etc. in Austin and why?

I think we’re pretty partial to our Teslas ‘round these parts. Cybercab will be a big hit in Austin. Just hope the weirdos don’t destroy them all.

100% Tesla because I love their design, I want to support them, and it will most likely be a lot cheaper.

Personally, I cannot imagine choosing the CC over one of the Waymo options (except for the novelty of it). The entrance and egress of the low-slung body style plus the semi-reclined seating position looks pretty uncomfortable to me. I like the Waymo service and I've found the Ipace to be very comfortable in the back seats even for tall passengers like me (6' 2"). The Ioniq 5 has more headroom and a more upright seating position. But given a choice, I would pick the Zeekr every time.
