Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster just whizzed past Mars

Mmm. So how cold is space... Shouldn't vacuum be near 0 kelvin so you are saying that because the temp difference between human body and space is so vast the human body glows brighter and sheds heat via radiation more rapidly?

Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster just whizzed past Mars

Now that we are talking about space, I have a question. You know how they say Mars is cold as hell? But does it feel cold? It's pretty dry. And also it has a thin atmosphere so -40 probably feels like a balmy 60 spring day! While you are at it... Why do movies show space as sucking heat out...

It's clearly not meaningless. The ban will spur investment in alternative infrastructure and provides leadership for planning for that alternative. California has a problem, doing nothing about it would be criminal, In fact it is good leadership. What would you do to address California's...

Gasoline, tolls, registration taxes do not cover the cost of roads. Lots of the roads funds comes from taxes on income. Amazon trucks and vans trundle all over roads, yes they pay tolls and registration etc but they don't pay income so in effect we are subsidizing a company that makes billions...

For most people solar panels provide power in the day time. Many people use their vehicles to drive somewhere in the day time. Now they aren't using energy in their house or charging their vehicle. Some people could sell the excess energy back to the grid and the utilities could build battery...

Any testing info on the CyberTruck? One vendor is testing.

Range decrease while towing isn't the real thing to worry about, yes the range will decrease with added load be it aerodynamic or mass. The thing to hope for from battery day is increased charge rate. Just a small reduction in battery internal resistance would be fantastic!

They are dated differently. In other words the caption was created when they used...
