    i supose it depends on where you live.. i have used the 3 superchargers near me <with a loose definition of near as most are more than 5 miles away> at none of them did i ever have to wait.. and while charging only 1 ever filled up all stalls.. and that was just a few minutes.

    I believe a large part of the plan is also the semi chargers. IIRC cybertrucks will be able to use the same charging pumps that the semi's use to control the traffic at those pumps.. you only direct people do em from the API if they are driving a vehicle capable of fully utilizing it.. <trucks...

    interesting since all use of tesla chargers requires the teesla app or api; i wonder if they have built and will start using a minimum requirement for a charger.. so for example you can only use a class 4 charger if your car supports it..

    I believe that is the first 200,000 sold in the US PER MODEL.. not per maker... so for tesla that is what 800,000 cars for the 4 main brands times 7k each.. about 5 billion of funding. and keep in mind he was responding to someone complaining about how them buying a tesla built out the tesla...

    they NEED nothing.. they get a little cash in their pocket to build out their lines faster.. keep in mind that you ONLY get to a tesla charger when the app points you there.. based on a search there is NOTHING saying tesla can't reserve a set percentage of all free pumps for tesla's ONLY...

    I get that and agree.. however what i have NOT seen is a lot of demand from Idra for giga presses for other manufacturers. what I am not sure people realize is tesla's BIGGEST advancement isn't in design of the CARS but in the design of the manufacturing process.. until others are reducing part...

    I honestly don't see this as a huge deal.. In the 1st quarter of 2023 ford sold 11,000 electric vehicles... tesla sold 181,000 so ford will add 10% to the user pool.. not a huge hit. Good pr move though
