    Road use! (Animated gif)

They should get the boring company to put bike lanes underground. That way they wouldn't have to stop at red lights

    Road use! (Animated gif)

I think my opposition to the special lanes for all the different types of vehicles is that... 1. Who pays for the bike lanes. Is it taxes on bike registrations? 2. Why does public transportation always need such high subsidization? If everyone loves it so much why are only poor people utilizing...

    How to use 15k

Bitcoin isn't an investment.... It is a price speculation. Most speculation fails so avoid it. You could buy some Tesla stock but maybe also invest in other worthy companies to diversify your risk? Vanguard has some very great managed mutual funds that are diversified and profitable.

U.S. to allow advanced headlights after Toyota petition

I am not really that Model 3 familiar. It was listed as a 2022 M3 long range on Turo. In the software screen it said Black Widow. It only had a chill and standard acceleration setting so I don't think it was a performance model. It only had 270 miles range but I assumed the owner had limited the...

U.S. to allow advanced headlights after Toyota petition

I rented a new model 3 lr last week and it had matrix headlights that projected the Tesla during the light show. I couldn't tell if it had adaptive headlights enabled but it did have an odd middle high beam. Could switch from low to middle to hella high.

WHOOOOA! Sandy Munro calls Tesla FSD CRAP!

Hey Sandy. Can Flir tell me if the light is red, green or yellow? No? Guess we still need cameras. I'm with you that Flir is great for occluded situations such as fog or snow but let's deal with those once fsd works for clear vision. Before you say sensor fusion let me remind you that we...

Tesla plans to buy Mercedes Benz

I guess a picture is not worth 1000 words. Here are my words. You suggest they buy a company to acquire new designs that look different. I showed you a picture of 4 future vehicles that look very different from SEXY that Tesla produced without having to aquire something as silly as Alpha drawings.

2021 Global Crypto Mining exceeds U.S. EV energy needs

It is true EM is a prime example of altruistic intent but he did not create or invent any / all of the altruistic art. His companies did that and they are peopled by person not motivated to be there for altruistic reasons. And EM and his companies are also a prime example of centralized...

2021 Global Crypto Mining exceeds U.S. EV energy needs

Small disagreement... 1. energy is actually plentiful. So abundant that most of it is wasted or not used in production. Crypto is an example of the plentiful availability of energy. It wastes huge amounts of energy to provide a non central controlled ledger. This is only possible because energy...

Elon Musk is TIME Person of the Year [CLOSED: VIOLATION OF NO-POLITICS RULE]

No I think you are misunderstanding my argument. It was that I appreciate Elon for his zany brain and brilliance, but he has terrible public policy ideas, he often wants to use engineering (optimized tradeoff) to solve political (emotional) problems. This is understandable, he has said that he...

Elon Musk is TIME Person of the Year [CLOSED: VIOLATION OF NO-POLITICS RULE]

My bad, I thought I was engaging in the serious EV topic of goverment subsidies. Your other thoughts are interesting but if I engage moderation will just remove them and probably yell at me.

Elon Musk is TIME Person of the Year [CLOSED: VIOLATION OF NO-POLITICS RULE]

And for Elon no subsidies is good.... ? never mind that he made all his intial money in .com a subsidized www. Space X functions because it wins taxpayer funded space exploration. One could say subsidized space exploration now that private companies are doing it. Tesla itself probably only...
