GM Says Its Fuel Cell Generators Could Enable EV Fast-Charging

Exactly. There are use-cases for hydrogen, and this looks like one such case. Much less so for passenger vehicles. I mean, wind power is great, but I don't need to park my Cybertruck under a windmill lol

GM Says Its Fuel Cell Generators Could Enable EV Fast-Charging

You better capture a solar hydrolyzing station, too. It's not easy to make hydrogen in bulk, but far easier than making gasoline!

Felony charges are 1st in a fatal crash involving Autopilot

The Autopilot available in 2019 was suitable for highways only, and was not for use on city streets. The driver should have disengaged when departing the highway. My first time using AP (borrowed car), I merrily let the car navigate city traffic, which worked fine as long as there were cars in...

Is Consumer Reports on the take from Big Oil and Gas?

The DeLorean panels were grained individually and did not have any matching issues. However, we still do not know how the CT exterior will be finished, if at all.

Is Consumer Reports on the take from Big Oil and Gas?

I’m no fan of CR; they lost my respect when they showed how “easily” two drunk men used TACC to kill themselves in 12 easy steps. Popular Mechanics: Does Anyone Even Want an Electric Car?

Remember when everyone was outraged at the thought of being forced to use those hideous LED bulbs? Now, the only incandescent bulb in my house is inside my oven. The geezer-Americans here, like myself, will also remember the sheer terror of having our vinyl and tapes taken away by these...

Popular Mechanics: Does Anyone Even Want an Electric Car?

I was helping my mom over the phone troubleshoot the wireless connection on her iPad. Eventually figured out that she had enabled “Airplane Mode”. Wanna know why she decided to tap on the little jet plane icon? “I thought it would go faster.” Parents! Amirite??

Popular Mechanics: Does Anyone Even Want an Electric Car?

“still want to buy new vehicles in-person and not over the internet” Let me guess…the survey was conducted via phone to people that have land lines? So, median age 60?

Tesla to increase FSD price to $12k

The increase is unsurprising. Elon has always said FSD price would rise as the capabilities expanded. I’ve got the lower price locked in for my CT, but the software does not convey with the owner. If the truck is stolen or totaled, I get to pay all over again.
