GM Adopting NACS Tesla Charge Ports on Its Vehicles Starting 2025!

GM Adopting NACS Tesla Charge Ports on Its Vehicles Starting 2025!

IMHO Tesla better be getting paid adequately for supercharger use by other brands, because otherwise it would be a slap in the face and unfair to the Tesla community who's purchases helped to create this Tesla supercharger network to start with. Only good thing is that non-Tesla brands are...

Ford EV will gain access to Tesla Superchargers and come with standard NACS ports starting 2025!

I think some good points are being made by @Ogre, @cvalue13, and others. If Tesla does indeed openly itemize their Supercharging Revenue from services to non-Tesla cars, I'll have a better context and likely feel more comfortable about it. It may even accelerate future rollout and solidify...

Ford EV will gain access to Tesla Superchargers and come with standard NACS ports starting 2025!

I'm more concerned about how Tesla is getting paid for Tesla supercharger use by non-Teslas, because those of us buying Teslas have been the ones paying mostly for Supercharger roll outs so far. Tesla wouldn't be able to roll out these numbers of superchargers without their own organic success...

I'm going to rent a Model 3. Any suggestions?

I've seen Enterprise Rent-A-Car also refuse debit cards at times. I don't know what it is exactly, but it seems like they want people to use their credit cards and open up a line of debt, hoping they won't immediately pay it back and that's how it starts. Seems like the banks and rental car...

    Inconceivable!

Everyone else was already too close to that before I replied, which is partly why I engaged in the first place. But I'm not afraid of a thread being closed, and let's remind ourselves that we wouldn't be discussing Cybertrucks at all if Elon weren't allowed to be Elon. - ÆCIII

    Inconceivable!

All speech may have consequences depending on who is listening, because again no expression will resonate positive with everyone. The fact that they point out obvious consequences to Elon that he already thoroughly knows, is very insulting actually, but they're not doing it to remind him...

    Inconceivable!

Yet from a substantive standpoint Elon is stratospheres above all three of those 'CEOs' put together - because in decades, neither of them brought EVs into the mainstream like Elon, neither of them made engineering work for reusable rocket boosters coming back to land, and certainly neither of...

Tesla Will be advertising! (to some extent)

Tesla already does 'advertise' in the best way possible - by exemplifying substance and without the skimming leeching MSM. Tesla does not need the MSM and that's one of the best things I totally appreciate about Tesla. - ÆCIII

Rumors of Tesla wanting to replace Elon Musk [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS AND TWITTER TALK]

Nothing personal against Sam Evans, as I've liked some of his content yet shook my head at a lot of his other content put out very prematurely or not very well substantiated. When someone talks about the sheer "number" of videos they've put out - well that may not be the wisest optics. He puts...

Help me help my fellow man.. make a choice

Actually, I like your profile pic just the way it is. Kind of reminds me of someone in a movie once where Gene Wilder was showing appreciation for knockers and racks. We've been discussing a lot of hardware and racks lately. Also reminds me of a song by Bobby Pickett, so hey to me it fits...

Starship Orbital Test Flight - 4/20 Launch

Yes, so funny in the Delta II launch, how they call an unexpected freaking' explosion an "anomaly". Typical media heads when confronted with truth and reality right in front of them. Just say "The vehicle booster has just exploded..." already! But nooo... Cannot accept ... Cannot cope...

Starship Orbital Test Flight - 4/20 Launch

What amazed me was the apparent sheer weight of the booster full of fuel on liftoff, and the slow initial rate of ascent at liftoff - and the actual hesitation before liftoff. Guess they didn't call it "Super-Heavy" for no reason... With how the Raptors have been performing in smaller numbers...

UPDATED PRICING (Post Inflation fears): Harley Livewire S2 Del Mar launching today at 12:40 CST

They're quite pricey for those carbon fiber and accessory trims for the other Livewire bike. I thought for $1300 you'd get a little more than those little pieces, not even any for the fenders?! The niche market for these bikes seems to be urban or locations short frequent trips. Funny that it...

    TESLA Hate and FUD

All the sideline naysayers are depending on one thing - for their target sheep to never have done any research or background knowledge - and to have only consumed their talking heads. The media are getting more delusional each week, thinking people are totally incapable of checking other...

I'm going to rent a Model 3. Any suggestions?

Just be sure you know where the superchargers are near your route (www.supercharge.info), or where other chargers are (www.plugshare.com) in case they might be needed. The car already knows where all superchargers are, but it still helps to be familiar and know alternate options. Also inspect...

    Q1 2023 results beat expectations

It's funny how the SEC went after Elon over one tweet, when Wall Street Analysts attempt to suppress the perceived value of TSLA almost every day. Anyone else see a problem with that??? - ÆCIII

Tesla margins will tighten as price cuts wage EV war: Morgan Stanley

Even if more price cuts or price wars happen, Tesla's margins will likely never be as low as legacy auto's margins already are right now. Tesla has more room for price cuts than most if not all of the others. So if Tesla's margins approach single digit levels, most others would need to price...

Jalopnik: EV Maintenance and Ownership Isn't Everything It's Cracked Up to Be

You might've prefaced the post letting people know it was a Jalopnik article. That way I could've passed over and ignored the article a few seconds quicker. :) - ÆCIII
