The Future isn't what it used to be

Nuclear, as in uranium and such were created inside a star that went supernova (not our current star, but still a star), which created everything in our planet: all the iron, copper, gold, rock, magma etc., and resulted in the forming of our current star, the Sun. All the heat (geothermal) came...

The Future isn't what it used to be

Literally, every single power source you can think of comes from the sun. 100%. I dare anyone to come up with a power source that doesn't come from the sun.

These scientists plan to fuel Tesla car using printed solar panels

Nice. It's almost like carrying a spare battery or two. Be nice to keep a roll of that stuff handy, say in the frunk?

Arcimoto shuts down factory, stock plunges as it warns of bankruptcy

I agree, kind of nichey, but an important part of the new lineup of electric vehicles. It's going to fit some people like a glove. I think they're going to sell all they can make for a decade or more, or at least until the Chinese notice it and clone 'em. It's kinda what they do.

Arcimoto shuts down factory, stock plunges as it warns of bankruptcy

As a professional market analyst since the mid eighties, I've made a quick analysis of the errors with this product. Hey man, don't be basin' on Aptera, at least it doesn't look like it was designed for adventurous grandmas only! (Sorry, couldn't help but steal that line) Apteras are sexy. And you might never need to plug it in. ?

    Robotaxi is an aircraft IMO

Air Taxi, fine, it's really just an airplane with a Taxi sticker on it, and maybe some pontoons, nothing new there, but it can actually work as a taxi, and carry several passengers. I've yet to see a working electric air taxi. Several posts here talk about battery powered autogyros and...

    Robotaxi is an aircraft IMO

Wings? It's starting to sound like an electric airplane to me, not a Robotaxi. Just sayin'.

    Robotaxi is an aircraft IMO

Flying Robotaxi is fun to think about, but the energy requirements are off the charts for batteries. Just not feasible with todays tech. It takes a shitload of juice to keep something in the air, so aside from exotic super expensive one-offs, we are simply not going to see it anytime soon...
