Why is WAYMO so much better than FSD ?

Humanoid robots controlled by Humans have not been 'around for decades'. By that matter, then AI controlled robots aren't exciting, either. I just don't get the insistence it's not progress. -Crissa

Why is WAYMO so much better than FSD ?

Since the default is 'discrimination is unethical and illegal' it does seem political to promote discrimination. -Crissa

Why is WAYMO so much better than FSD ?

They can't puppet/drive the vehicles directly, they can only answer questions from the vehicles or send service. Tho I'm guessing that's mostly how the Teslabots were operated, by making sure they're catching the right questions and not stepping on toes. -Crissa

Did everyone get this Robotaxi Cybercab invitation ?

Heck, even some of those at the studios were just a glorified watch party (see also Dirty Tesla's invite). -Crissa

Why is WAYMO so much better than FSD ?

In that, there's a Human making sure it doesn't screw up. Robots are just fancy electronic puppets. Why this upsets you - when that wasn't even possible a few years ago - is baffling. -Crissa

Subways bypass the streets, and are higher density (and lower maintenance) than these units. But we need all sorts of transportation. My Zero gets me there at 3¢ a mile... -Crissa

But that's 36,000 'participants' and 'worldwide'. That seems... Dubious. They sold over 133,000 in the US so far, but I think they also sold them in Canada, South Korea, and the EU. -Crissa

2000is standard, but they're surveying dozens of countries an this sample is apparently the same number they have who they always ask. That's just... that sounds more like their total user base, not a sample size. -Crissa

Elon says TESLA shareholders re-approved his pay package!!

This is bad news. He's been screwing up the company and cutting production and expansion and without the threat over his head, he doesn't have to change his actions. He really needs a wakeup call that he's effing up. -Crissa

Feature request: search for posts by number of replies

As the forum grows and gets more active, it's becoming easier for unanswered posts or even really long threads to slide down off the top page of new posts. It would be really awesome to be able to - like the keywords - just find posts with say, under one replies that are new to you. As always...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

Literally, dude, you admit to being misled in the next series of paragraphs. Renumeration needs to be: Required to retain the talent That talent needs to be better than replacement Goals need to be stated properly The goals weren't, apparently, stretch goals. I thought they were likely to...

Shareholders, would you vote to reinstate Elon's pay package

I voted against every single one of the the board's suggestions. They should fire Musk. He has become toxic for the company and his tantrums have seriously set back EV adoption. The board lied about the odds of them meeting those goals by omitting details relevant to the vote. It was a...

    China's EVs

They're not ahead of Tesla, but they're adapting technologies much more quickly. Alot of the brands have never had to pass a real safety test, though. But a few of them... Those that do pass are taking Europe by storm with actual 'Tesla killers'. -Crissa
