"cabin cooling and heating eat up significant amounts of power from an EV’s battery" Ok, so they can increase practical range while using A/C. But certainly not increase your total range if not using any cabin conditioning. -

Well, I hope they can get their act together on this. We just noticed this weekend, 1 year and 4 months after getting the car fixed, that they (the certified body shop) failed to re-install the Tesla badge on the hood. Just dropping this in here to pay homage to the coolest 3 wheeled idea ever that never happened.. the Corbin Motors Merlin Roadster. Yes, that's a Harley Davidson (style?) V-Twin engine mounted on the front, better performance than a Porsche at $25K projected sales point. I'd have bought one...
