DeLorean Alpha: Taking reservations with an interesting methodology

Yup, It sounds like they are trying to make money off reservations not cars. I bet there are reservations (with lower numbers) set aside for insiders that will cash in when the market is hot before sending an email from a tropical Island; OOPS we won't be able to mass produce these cars. The...

Jalopnik: EV Maintenance and Ownership Isn't Everything It's Cracked Up to Be

A lot of EVs are really new where ICE tech has been hammered out for years so there is more of a chance of an initial issue. And even seasoned manufacturers are new to EVs. I am really curious about Tesla owner experience in this regard since they are more likely to have owned EVs longer and...

First Supercharger with Magic Dock CCS Adapter charges up a Rivian

If all chargers are not converted and only one or two are, and I put them in as an essential part of my 12 hour road trip plan, they could be free when I leave and occupied by couple of Tesla owners that are not thrilled about this whole thing leaving all other chargers I can’t use free. When...

First Supercharger with Magic Dock CCS Adapter charges up a Rivian

Can you guys tell if all chargers at this location have been retrofitted or some of them? All would make sense otherwise CCS refugees will have to deal with the same level of uncertainty as they do now.

First Supercharger with Magic Dock CCS Adapter charges up a Rivian

Does anyone know how plugshare will find out about location and number of these chargers? Will it be from users? Or Tesla? I am guessing CCS folks will have to use a Tesla app and that would be the most reliable way to find out. But since they will have to rely on multiple networks, I am...

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

If I was conducting a study, I would place a VMS (variable message sign) quarter of a mile ahead with a message like “caution, half naked supermodels flashing ahead” and try to see how it compares to flashing lights in alerting the drivers. I take suggestions for the VMS message for my study.

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

If the measure of system working is 100% safety, it does not but if it is +1% Safer it MAY be working ( I don’t know how to measure that). The idea with emergency lights is to replace a highly unexpected situation with a somewhat unexpected situation. Chances are regardless of what level of...

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

You have to forgive me. Some of us are just not that bright. It seems you have already gone through all the forensic evidence of this case. To me it seems like a Robot and a human were sharing the driving Task. Any of them could be at fault regardless of which one signed which agreement...

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

There should be some redundancies; First responder vehicles should broadcast some sort of short range radio signal that smart cars can pickup and react to. Of course then we will have to have some jail time for kids that fake the signal for fun.

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

I am really serious. Your response didn’t clear up anything for me. I completely understand Tesla’s point of view. No need for clarification there. If I was in Elon’s shoes and someone came to me and said I don’t have to hire and pay someone for testing and they put their own life on the line...

Why Do Teslas Keep Smashing Emergency Vehicles? (Warning: Graphic images in article)

It looks like passenger may survive so they may be able to clarify if FSD or autopilot was engaged. In this case, regardless of if it FSD was engaged, I think it was very likely the driver was doing something irresponsible (hard to miss those flashing lights especially if it was at night)...

GM’s Mary Barra Says GM can Catch Tesla by 2025. Problem is…

" I give you that. That was a big fail on GM part. Are you suggesting GM does overnight what Panasonic and Samsung have perfected over decades? Standing on sidelines and demanding these gigantic endeavors just because a once in a century man (Elon) has attempt it is mighty easy for anyone...

GM’s Mary Barra Says GM can Catch Tesla by 2025. Problem is…

Keep in mind these CEOs have a tight rope to walk. For Tesla it is simple they only produce EVs and they simply have to grow to keep their share holders happy. Even with that Elon constantly have to throw better numbers at shareholders every quarter as a part of the Job. For GM CEO that...

GM’s Mary Barra Says GM can Catch Tesla by 2025. Problem is…

I don’t get why everyone gets so much Joy out of an American Icon that employs so many people dying off. I have no doubt both Tesla and GM can sell any EV they can produce. Even if she is B.S.ing about their ability, they are obviously dumping a ton of money into going electric. I don’t get...

    Fiery deaths?

Your theory is sound. In fact there is evidence invisible alien driving the car was a relatively green Tesla employee with H1 visa. p.s. They are saying the witness was the data held and collected by the accused. Alien tech has no problem manufacturing or manipulating that data.

Tesla Is Developing A Robot. If Combined With Neuralink, It May Have Revolutionary Healthcare Applications

Though test to pass If I am a robot, then I don't know if I have harmed a human because I can't tell if there is such a thing as human. They all could be robots just like me. Most of them play sport like me and hurting each other is part of the deal. If you mean if I have made a robo call...
