Welp, they’re here.
Summary of changes:
• S Plaid exterior was redesigned and looks a little more aggressive than the AWD on the front and back, kinda like the 3 Performance
• There is, brace yourself for this shocker, an ambient light strip on the interior
• Range has improved a little bit, except for the S AWD, that stayed the same
• They’re all $5K more expensive now
• One new color, frost blue metallic (and the diamond black came over from the 3/Y if you want to count that)
• New wheels all around, pretty cool-looking ones
• Yokes are now a Plaid-only option
What didn’t change is any 0-60 times. It seems Tesla is tipping its hat to Lucid and saying good game. Really more like “nice work, but we only care about autonomy now.” That’s all well and good, but it would have been nice to see the S Plaid return to the top spot.
No SbW either
No mention of PowerShare. Lars was right, that was “a little bit” of love.
