They call Google and Facebook technology companies when most sales come from ads. In fact a higher percentage in those two come from ads (think 99%) than vehicles at Tesla (~93%). (TSLA 2023 Total Revenue ~$96.7B vs ~$6B solar and storage.) -

Tesla doesn't use those elements in the AC induction motors and is moving away from them in future permanent magnet motors.
