Eventually, Chinese EV's will get into America, but let's enjoy the win while we can.
As per TrendForce data, Tesla led the global BEV market with a 12.9% share in Q1 2026, ahead of BYD at 10.9% and Geely at 5.5%. Xiaomi entered the global top-10 BEV rankings in seventh place with a 2.9% market share. Legacy automakers like Kia (3.1%), Toyota (2.6%), and Volkswagen (2.7%) saw their BEV efforts pay off as well.
