Are these robo taxi rides available during the sunset and sunrise hours, taking directions looking into the sun?

My FSD vehicles completely die if I drive them into the sunlight during these hours. Completely useless system, sorry truth.
They run 6A-Midnight. My FSD does fine with sunrise/sunset in its face.

Mine has no problem with sunlight shining straight at it at sunrise or sunset hours... Maybe there's an issue with your forward facing camera system... You should check that out in the 'service' section...

You need to clean the interior glass in front of the forward cameras. When even slightly dirty, the direct sun creates a blinding glare.

Anyone figured out if they’re using RWD or AWD? No dual motor badge, but they might have removed it to put the Robotaxi logo in its place.

I could see using RWD for a little more range, but AWD would be safer for driving in the rain.

AWD is NOT significantly safer in the rain! It's really just a matter of how good your tires are in the rain.

Yeah, nothing significant, just a little safer due to distributing power to all 4 wheels instead of just the rear ones. The range advantage of the RWD is also not particularly significant, so I don’t know what they would have gone with.

You should get it cleaned. I have had that problem and someone suggested the cameras had "degassed" and the service center fixed it for them. Today I drove into light so bright I could barely see the road and expected it to crash out but it went perfectly without trouble.
