It is false to say Tesla is losing money on Supercharging. Tesla said Supercharging Business Is Profitable.

I started with the presumption that Elon Musk likes each new business initiative to be self funding ASAP. Using some snippets of info over the years, a supercharger costs Tesla about $50,000. Over the last 12 Months, Tesla installed 12400 new Superchargers. Total cost $620 Million. Say we had...

With everything that's happened, was Drew Baglino escaping. Now Tom Zhu back to China.

I reckon they have been through fires before, I can't see why they would go weak at the knees now. BTW, the angle of reporting has been along the lines of 'TESLA PIVOTING', that may be true, and to me is the negative narrative of the story. Perhaps the more accurate headline could read...

Report: Tesla lays off entire Supercharger team! [Update: Elon Musk says supercharger growth will continue]

I suspect this has been on the cards for a lot longer than we think. Over the last 6 months, (AU)I have been checking the Supercharger map for updates. The map should be updated every 3 months. From a usual over a dozen planned new locations to just 3 today.

Report: Tesla lays off entire Supercharger team! [Update: Elon Musk says supercharger growth will continue]

The supercharger network had been growing at 30%-33%, last qrt dropped to 27%. Tesla has reached growth of around 1300 locations per year. Maybe a number the company is satisfied with to support the Robotaxi rollout for now. Tesla has delayed mass production of consumer 'Model' 2...

Tesla Makes Deal With China For FSD

All correct. One plays on the mood of short-term price, and the other long-term prospects. But is it accurate to say, for example, 'he took his hands off the wheel ?' Not many CEO's, nor boards, who are after all representing shareholders, able to turn on a dime. Tesla had plans for...

Tesla Makes Deal With China For FSD

Another positive for Tesla, and share price market boost, it's a biggie, but if the past is anything to go on, short-lived. But maybe the past is over, lol. It could stick and rise steadily. Good things are ahead within the market's reach. I expect the Q2 results to please, but adding to...

1800 jobs cut today @ Gigafactory rumored there will be a 2nd wave in the next few days.

Yea, back in my IT days, I received the request to identify and cut staff. That's how it worked. Luckily I was able to hold onto my team.

Optimus Bot Gen 2 Introduced! ?

More likely the Bot sitting in the passenger's seat and being driven around by FSD I'd love to see a bot sit in an F150 and driving it around

Yes, that is true. My thoughts were directed at long-term holders with future dreams, flirting with the stock.

I can't apply technicals to a fast-growing company.. Too many variables. A simple market announcement could break out of anything, one way or another. Covid, inflation, recession, war aside : If the thing grows 50%, why fark around trying to pick up 5%. Never drop what's in the hand!!!! A...

TSLA IMO is a long hold.. I had a mate who got out recently... he was fed up stressing over daily news... sometimes little voices get the better of you.

Optimus Bot Gen 2 Introduced! ?

Neck, arms, and hand movements were amazing! With just a little more training, I imagine they'd be almost human-like. Put a uniform on it and send it to work on the Cybertruck like now lol

Tesla short seller Jim Chanos closes fund

For a while, I thought these short sellers, or at least the ones on TV were employed by a larger group .. Perhaps big oil to undermine anything good about Tesla. Turns out they are just misaligned in the head.
