Tesla wins Kelley Blue Book “Best Overall Luxury Brand” award for 3rd year running

Tesla's are in a class of their own, in my opinion. I've never driven such an exceptional car. Completely "next-gen".

We have some definite challenges ahead.

Others have said it already, but the increased demand of electric cars and modern heating systems can be offset by efficiency and solar. I have a large property that I renovated into 2 homes and 3 businesses. When I bought it, it was primarily oil with supplemental electricity. We removed the...

We have some definite challenges ahead.

Those are popular in my region since we have a lot of trees. They work amazing, but are expensive and a lot of work. I'd never do one for a backup system. Only if you want wood for your primary source.

White House to Meet with GM, Ford, others to Discuss EVs

Actually, it's you that doesn't understand the word's meaning. Privilege IS by default, unearned: "a right or benefit that is given to some people and not to others" Given, not earned. It may be given as result of earning; An Olympic athlete may be given the privilege of attending VIP...

White House to Meet with GM, Ford, others to Discuss EVs

It's funny, I was watching some Youtube the other day and "1996 ads" was playing. One of the ads said how "a portion from every sale will go toward helping retarded children!" I almost spit out my tea. It was over the course of my youth the the word retarded became vilified. It was first just...

Tesla CEO Elon Musk mocks UAW, slams union over corruption

No one said it would. I said workers with shares will care about the company’s success. That doesn’t mean it will be successful. Neither does a union.

WSJ Live w/ Elon: Cybertruck will our best product ever; U.S. EV subsidies should be canned; & more....

it's not meaningless. That will be shown it time. The deficit levels of the US are idiotic. That's fact moreso than opinion. Unfortunately, Americans don't have much of an option since neither party wants to bring it to balance. Both want to spend to oblivion on their personal interests.

    How about that weather?

Global warming has been amazing for Nova Scotia. When I was a kid, it would often snow on Halloween. Now, October is one of the nicest months. It's like we have an extra month of summer. Of course, our beaches may be gone soon and we'll be an island, but.. easy come easy go.

Dealerships are such hot garbage and need to be taken out

I haven't bought a Tesla yet, but all of my friends say the experience was extremely positive, better than any dealer. Meanwhile, my personal experience with dealers has ranged from awful to "at least it wasn't bad". There is nothing special about an independent dealer being able to detail a...

Dealerships are such hot garbage and need to be taken out

To be clear I think dealerships are trash… not stores or repair centres. I love in person shopping. I have no use for a business that acquires a product and then tries to sell it to you with as much mark up as possible.

Dealerships are such hot garbage and need to be taken out

Generally speaking, I hate generalizations. But I do think that dealerships are trash. They add nothing, but some money to the owner. Their very nature is to add as much cost as possible to your vehicle purchase, without adding any value. They have no other purpose for existing, and as such...

    Elon Musk and taxes

You're making several statements based on assumptions or stereotypes. ie, that piles of wealth in a single person's hands becomes less productive, that it's corruptive. That a giant company becomes risk-averse. That Elon likes Company Thongs. Short Shorts, yes, but we have yet to see...

    Elon Musk and taxes

I should be clear about my reply, as well, that I wasn't bashing you, but the content you shared. There are many continuing to post and share about Elon and others "making" billions during the pandemic, etc. They didn't make money, the value of what they own increased. It's a big difference...

    Elon Musk and taxes

The political dichotomy is both fascinating and depressing to me. I agree that the two political leanings each have a significant negative quality, one being jealousy the other being greed. I see it time and again. A right-leaning business owner saying an extra stat holiday for workers is too...
