Cybercab Production begins April 2026. First Look at Production Line Using Unboxed Process

Would this production line be based on the Tesla "unboxed" production line building large, highly integrated sub-assembled modules in parallel and then bring them together for a rapid final assembly step? The "unboxed" production line was supposed to drastically improve efficiency, reduce...

Cybercab gets frameless windows and longer doors

Could a four-seat version be the reason of those elongated doors?

Cybercab begins testing on California public roads!

It has side rear view mirrors, so guess also a steering wheel, to make it legal.

Cybercab with steering wheel & side mirrors! First sighting at Giga Texas

Those Robotaxi with mirrors (and may be a steering wheel and pedals) might be used during validation requiring a human safety driver present? May be later on, a single passenger could be also present before the Robotaxi full autonomy release?

San Francisco / Bay Area Robotaxi service launches! Service area dwarfs Waymo's

Does this film is available? I would be interested testing it. Note: I have a circular polarizing lens filter (CPL) for my Blackvue dashcam to reduce reflection from other cars, but it doesn't block the intense sunset light.

San Francisco / Bay Area Robotaxi service launches! Service area dwarfs Waymo's

I drive from San Francisco to San Jose back and force every day, and around 8 am or 7 pm when using FSD I often get the "Red Steering Wheel from Hell" because of the sun on the horizon is very low and is facing the windshield camera, forcing me to take over because FSD was shutting down. This...

Does the App works also on Android or only on iOS?

San Francisco / Bay Area Robotaxi service launches! Service area dwarfs Waymo's

Difficult to compare because Waymo is autonomous while Tesla is Supervised with a driver sitting in front of the steering wheel.

Cybercab will be "roadtrip capable" over long distances due to wireless charging

I guess for the initial phase of testing, it is possible that the ground floor, with privacy walls, of the multi level garage parking at Giga Texas could be used for testing the CyberCab cleaning robots, but I imagine that there will be some TaxiCab hub downtown Austin for cleaning and charging.

Cybercab will be "roadtrip capable" over long distances due to wireless charging

I suspect than Supercharging would also be available when at a specific CyberCab cleaning location, otherwise when used from a major airport to an hotel in a downtown city, a very typical use case, a CyberCab could only make two (50 miles) round trips before needing to be recharged wirelessly at...

Tesla Cybercab wheel and tire secrets revealed

I would recommend watching this YouTube video: "Tesla Cybercab wheel and tire secrets revealed" from the Tuneko Ltd:s channel which is a Swedish engineering company Tuneko whose aim is to design new products based on efficiency. In this video, the author explains the choices Tesla made in...

    Cybercab w/ Steering Wheel Spotted

On this picture, the staggered wheels are quite noticeable and look a little odd. I really wonder what the justification for it? - I guess smaller front wheels might help lowering the front facia and frunk cover. - And larger rear diameter might improve comfort on rough road surface?

So how the plastic panels will be attached to the body frame?

Breaking: Tesla Robotaxi fleet service w/ Unsupervised FSD will launch in Austin in June 2025

It would be interesting to see how and where the wireless charging and self cleaning robots would be performed and installed?

Spotted: Wireless charging being tested at Giga Texas?

The tent might be used for performing some thermal, hot or cold, supercharging testing? However I don't see any electrical power wires, beside obviously the Supercharger cord. Or could this be a prototype of a CyberCab robot cleaning instalation?
